Frisch Screen Printing
The price for screen printing is dependent upon two factors.
The first factor is the number of ink colors. At Frisch Screen Printing we print what are referred to as "Spot
Colors". A customer's design is "separated" into its component colors and a different screen is used to print each
color.(See illustration below.) Therefore, as the number of colors goes up, so does the price. We are able to print
designs of up to four colors.
The second factor is the quantity of items printed. The more items that are printed with the same design, the lower
the price per print.
The printing prices listed below are based on the two factors just explained. Find the price that fits your situation
and add it to the cost of your blank item. For quantities above 144, please call for special pricing. We do not screen
print on customer provided garments. (We also do not charge"screen fees" or "set-up" fees and so require a
minimum order of 12.)
Screen Printing Prices and Information
If you order a minimum of 30 prints of a given
design, there will be no art fee. For smaller orders,
there will be a fee for separating the colors (see
below) of your design, or creating a design from
scratch. These fees start at $10 and are based upon
the complexity of the design. You may e-mail us the
design as a .jpg file and we will give you an exact
price.

Separating Colors
When a customer presents a four color
design like the one shown at the right, the
design must be color separated first. Each
color of the design is then converted to a
black and white image like those shown
below.
Color Separations for Tan, Red, Blue and Black (l-r)
The separations are then used to prepare four screens for printing. Each color is printed separately as
shown below.
